The European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) helps coordinate public research effort to develop more efficient and cheaper sustainable energy technologies.
EERA is the research pillar of the EU Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan), the EU strategy to accelerate the development and market uptake of key low-carbon technologies.
Through our coordinated research programmes, EERA helps ensure that the resources invested each year in low-carbon technologies are spent on the best solutions.
