L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nancy est l'une des 20 écoles d'architecture sous tutelle du ministère de la Culture. Implantée au coeur d'une région européenne attractive, alliant puissamment l'art et l'ingénierie, l'école forme près de 650 étudiants-architectes et une cinquantaine dans d'autres cursus.
Depuis plus de 45 ans, l'école d'architecture de Nancy développe deux objectifs d'excellence : la recherche en architecture et les pédagogies innovantes par le projet. De l'aménagement d'espaces publics à la reconversion de bâtiments existants, les ateliers de projets, au coeurr de l'enseignement, s'inscrivent exclusivement dans des territoires concrets et répondent à des questionnements et des problématiques réels souvent posés par les collectivités. Ils fournissent autant d'opportunités de mise en situation professionnelle et d'ouverture d'esprit pour les futurs architectes. Cette formation supérieure ouvre d'ailleurs sur des débouchés professionnels de plus en plus variés : architecte, urbaniste, paysagiste, designer, enseignant, chercheur tant dans les domaines de la maîtrise d'oeuvre que celui de l'assistance à maîtrise d'ouvrage.
L'équipe d'enseignants de l'école, issue du monde professionnel et universitaire, s'investit au quotidien dans les territoires notamment par le biais de ses deux laboratoires : le MAP-CRAI (Centre de Recherche en Architecture et Ingénierie) et le LHAC (Laboratoire d'Histoire de l'Architecture Contemporaine) et d'un réseau d'entreprises d'architecture régionales.
