L'association Française de Footgolf, fondée le 6 juin 2013 est régie par la loi du 1er Juillet 1901 et le décret du 16 aout 1901. Elle a pour but d'organiser, développer et promouvoir le Footgolf en France, de fédérer toutes les personnes physiques ou morales pratiquant le Footgolf, de vendre des biens et services en relation avec le Footgolf et de se consacrer de façon générale à tout ce qui concerne le Footgolf.
Le footgolf, c’est la combinaison de deux des sports les plus populaires au monde. Le principe est simple: compléter un parcours de 9 ou 18 trous, seul ou par équipe de deux, en faisant entrer un ballon de football dans un trou adapté avec un minimum de frappes au pied, sur un parcours de golf.
Les règles, obstacles et pénalités sont les mêmes qu’au golf.
C'est une nouvelle vision du séminaire et de l'Incentive.
