Le Centre Régional Information Jeunesse (CRIJ) Occitanie est une association loi 1901, avec mission de service public, qui œuvre pour l’Information Jeunesse sur le territoire régional Occitanie. Il est aujourd'hui composé de 2 sites : un à Montpellier et un à Toulouse (siège social).
Ouvert toute l'année, le CRIJ est un centre de ressources et d’information pour les jeunes, et un centre de ressources pour les professionnels de l'éducation, de la jeunesse et du social. Il traite les thématiques suivantes : orientation et réorientation, premier accès au monde du travail, mobilité internationale, droits sociaux et démarches administratives, logement, engagement citoyen, accès à la culture, au loisirs.
Le CRIJ propose aux jeunes des services tels que :
- des annonces : jobs, stages et service civique ... dépôt et consultation gratuites ;
- un accompagnement conseil individualisé ou collectif, gratuit, sur le logement, la mobilité internationale, les droits et démarches ou l'orientation ;
- un accompagnement long et personnalisé pour les jeunes non scolarisés en recherche d'emploi ;
Pour les professionnels et les élus locaux, le CRIJ fournit :
- un espace de travail collaboratif numérique ;
- des formations pour les informateurs jeunesse ;
- un accompagnement au développement des structures d'information jeunesse ;
- l'accès au réseau des acteurs régionaux de la mobilité internationale des jeunes dans le cadre de leurs études et formations (Éole Occitanie) ;
