Il est membre du réseau des Groupements Régionaux d’Agriculteurs Biologiques coordonné à l’échelle nationale, par la FNAB (Fédération Nationale d’Agriculture Biologique des régions de France). Le GAB IdF représente et soutient les agriculteurs et associations engagés dans le mode de production biologique.
Il s’occupe également du développement de l’agriculture biologique au niveau régional. Dans son rôle de référent sur les actions relatives à l’agriculture biologique, le GAB IdF est Centre Technique Régional de l’ITAB (Institut Technique sur l’AB), ORAB (Observatoire Régional de l’Agriculture Biologique) et relais régional de l’Agence Bio.
