    Créée en 2017, la Fondation la France s’engage est une fondation reconnue d'utilité publique (FRUP) qui s’inscrit dans la prolongation du programme de soutien à l’innovation sociale La France s’engage initié par l’Etat en 2014.

    L’objectif de la Fondation est de promouvoir l'engagement de la société civile dans des initiatives innovantes, solidaires et utiles au plus grand nombre. Elle favorise, grâce à ces initiatives, le vivre-ensemble autour de services de proximité et le développement durable des territoires.

    Au moyen d’un concours national annuel, la fondation récompense les meilleurs projets d’après les 4 critères suivants :

    - Impact social ;
    - Innovation ;
    - Potentiel de changement d’échelle ;
    - Efficacité démontrée.

    Outre un accompagnement financier important (de 50 000€ à 300 000€ sur plusieurs années), les lauréats de la Fondation La France s’engage bénéficient d’un accompagnement d’exception, leur permettant d’identifier clairement leurs besoins, puis de bénéficier du soutien et du suivi des entreprises fondatrices et partenaires dans le développement de leurs activités.
