CESUR, Asociación de Empresarios del Sur de España, es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro fundada por empresarios y altos directivos andaluces. Es privada e independiente. Esta iniciativa nace de la inquietud por mejorar las condiciones empresariales, económicas y sociales del sur de España.
Sus miembros pertenecen, mayoritariamente, a una generación que ha tomado o está tomando las decisiones de su empresa y escribirán el futuro de la economía regional y nacional. Nos proponemos generar actividad económica y empresarial, poner en valor la actividad empresarial y al empresario y mejorar las condiciones socioeconómicas proponiendo a las distintas administraciones informes, proyectos y estrategias concretas en favor de esas mejoras, tanto a nivel de política económica como de política de empresa.
Presta especial atención a la innovación empresarial, la responsabilidad social corporativa y la educación de calidad. Se constituye como un círculo de empresarios –al igual que en otros lugares de España- promotor de iniciativas empresariales y sociales que puedan responder a solucionar problemas reales.
CESUR pone en marcha dos think tank: el Círculo de Innovación Empresarial del Sur de Europa (CIES), que tiene por objetivo situar a las empresas en la punta de lanza de la innovación, y el Círculo de Economía y Sociedad (CEYS), con la finalidad de mejorar la metodología educativa y la responsabilidad social corporativa.
Son señas de identidad de CESUR son su carácter privado, independiente y libre. Nos financiamos con las cuotas de socios y empresas colaboradoras, sin solicitar subvención pública alguna. Rotaremos cada tres años de la presidencia de la asociación. Estamos aquí para colaborar con otras instituciones privadas o públicas para mejorar las condiciones económicas y sociales del Sur de España. De sus empresas y de sus ciudadanos.
