The Mission of the Gil Gayarre Foundation is to attend and support the life project of each person with intellectual disabilities and their family. And defend their rights and obligations as citizens, to achieve the greatest possible degree of social inclusion.
We currently provide support from different centers and services to around 500 people with intellectual disabilities of all ages, with different support needs and their families.
We have a multidisciplinary team of 216 professionals and the collaboration of 150 volunteers.
It is a consolidated organization, whose prestige is based on its pesonized, adaptable, flexible and inclusive care model. The programs to develop through the elaboration of a detailed individual plan, always with the active participation of people with disabilities and their families.
The Foundation remains attentive to new social needs and continues to be a promoter of change and innovation.

Es una organización sin ánimo de lucro que se encuentra en la Comunidad de Madrid, pertenece al movimiento asociativo Plena Inclusión y desempeña una función social de manera activa y comprometida.
Surge por iniciativa de Doña Carmen Gayarre. Una mujer extraordinaria que convirtió el nacimiento de su hijo Luis, con Síndrome de Down, en una oportunidad para ayudar a otras personas en su misma situación.
La misión de la Fundación Gil Gayarre es atender y apoyar el proyecto de vida de cada persona con discapacidad intelectual y su familia. Y defender sus derechos y obligaciones como ciudadanos, para alcanzar el mayor grado de inclusión social posible.
Actualmente prestamos apoyo desde diferentes centros y servicios a alrededor de 500 personas con discapacidad intelectual de todas las edades, con diferentes necesidades de apoyo y a sus familias.
Contamos con un equipo multidisciplinar de 216 profesionales y la colaboración de 150 voluntarios.
Es una organización consolidada, cuyo prestigio se basa en su modelo de atención pesonalizado, adaptable, flexible e inclusivo. Los programas de desarrollan mediante la elaboración de un detallado plan individual, siempre contando con la participación activa de las personas con discapacidad y sus familias.
La Fundación permanece atenta a las nuevas necesidades sociales y continúa siendo promotora de cambio e innovación.
