    With more than forty years of experience, we are recognized as a global reference foundation for our commitment to the well -being of people and social progress. Our mission, as a non -profit institution created by Mapfre, is to contribute to the improvement of people's quality of life and the progress of society through multinational programs and activities.

    In Mapfre Foundation we are aware that only understanding the new realities of this changing world will be able to continue advancing in this global project that is articulated in different areas of action. For the fulfillment of our purposes, we carry out a wide range of activities worldwide through five areas that have a common goal: our responsible commitment to society.

    The five areas in which our activities are articulated are: social action, culture, health promotion, prevention and road safety and social forecast.

    To achieve our objectives, we collaborate with a broad number of national and international public and private institutions, NGOs, museums, foundations and associations for similar purposes to ours.

    To help strengthen the founding work we belong to the Spanish Association of Foundations (AEF), a private and independent national association, which groups Spanish foundations of the most diverse dimensions, purposes and areas of action. We work with AEF to develop and strengthen our sector and achieve the best fulfillment of foundational purposes for the benefit of society as a whole.

    Con más de cuarenta años de experiencia, somos reconocidos como una fundación global de referencia por nuestro compromiso con el bienestar de las personas y el progreso social. Nuestra misión, como institución no lucrativa creada por MAPFRE, es contribuir a la mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas y al progreso de la sociedad mediante programas y actividades multinacionales.

Para el cumplimiento de nuestros fines, llevamos a cabo una amplia gama de actividades en todo el mundo a través de cinco áreas que tienen un objetivo común: nuestro compromiso responsable con la sociedad.

    Las cinco áreas en las que se articulan nuestras actividades son: Acción Social, Cultura, Promoción de la Salud, Prevención y Seguridad Vial y Seguro y Previsión Social.

    Para alcanzar nuestros objetivos colaboramos con un amplio número de instituciones públicas y privadas nacionales e internacionales, ONGs, museos, fundaciones y asociaciones con fines similares a los nuestros.

    Para ayudar a fortalecer el trabajo fundacional pertenecemos a la Asociación Española de Fundaciones (AEF), una asociación privada e independiente de ámbito nacional, que agrupa a fundaciones españolas de las más diversas dimensiones, finalidades y ámbitos de actuación. Trabajamos con AEF para desarrollar y fortalecer nuestro sector y conseguir el mejor cumplimiento de los fines fundacionales en beneficio del conjunto de la sociedad.
