    Lemta concentrates its research around mechanics and energy and is among the 5 laboratories of the Jacques Villermaux research federation for mechanics, energy and processes.

    Organized in three research groups and a transverse scientific operation on MRI, the laboratory contributes to creating new knowledge in the field of engineering sciences. This research is implemented by nearly 75 researchers and teacher-researchers, 30 administrative and technical staff distributed in common research support services (Finance & Amp; Administration, Design and Mechanical, Electronic & Amp; Instrumentation, Logistics and Projects, IT & Amp; Calculation) and around 60 doctoral students and post-doctoral students.
