7 months agoAssisting the oil palm industry reach Precision Agriculture and machine to machine traceability automated audit trail
Initially our fellowship of oil palm experts listed issues the industry most urgently needed solved.
Each making planters loose yearly 1 to 3 billion US$.
We first
turn each palm into a profit centre with a database of each palm (ID & location). Database constantly fed automatically with fertiliser/biomass input and bunch output.
To keep the yield making & yield taking under constant monitoring by using a private local area communication system.
We tested the system in Peninsula Malaysia, Sabah and Kalimantan.
Current mechanisation efforts use AI developed by a world recognised oil palm research centre working in close collaboration with major planters.
Our estate wide fully automated IoT/AI systems will allow a single server to tackle issues stemming from
lack of labour, lack of pollen,
& lack of infestation advanced warning systems. And all the while keeping planters in a sustainable situation protecting the soil, the climate & the biodiversity in and around plantations.
More concretely our breeders, agronomists, biotechnologists, biodiversity scientists, and engineers (optics, IoT, ICT, GIS...) are currently developing :
1 a machine harvesting a bunch every minute of daylight with 70% less labour than previously...
2 a pollen dispensing system requiring little labour.
3 a higher value add biomass converting system.
4 a constantly monitoring biodiversity system.
5 an early infestations warning system first for ganoderma...).
6 improved forests/plantations cohabitation.
