[Automatic translation follows] Interreg France-Italie AlcoTra (Alpes Latin Cooperation Cross-border) is one of the European cross-border cooperation programs. Its objective is to strengthen cohesion between French and Italian border territories. Interreg France-Italie ALCOTRA (Alpes Latines COopération TRAnsfrontalière) est l’un des programmes de coopération transfrontalière européenne. Son objectif est de renforcer la cohésion entre territoires frontaliers français et italiens. Il couvre le territoire alpin entre la France et l’Italie : départements des Alpes de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes Maritimes, Savoie et Haute-Savoie, Région Autonome Vallée d’Aoste, Provinces d’Imperia et de Cuneo, Métropole de Turin.
Les objectifs du programme sont de répondre aux défis environnementaux, redynamiser les systèmes économiques et sociaux et dépasser les principaux obstacles transfrontaliers, grâce à une coopération locale, intégrée et inclusive. ALCOTRA est financé par le FEDER (Fonds européen de développement régional), instrument de mise en œuvre de la Politique de Cohésion de l’Union européenne destiné à financer les programmes pluriannuels de développement régional. La Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes est autorité de gestion du programme depuis 2014.
