Engagements et bonnes pratiques des entreprises vis-à-vis de la Convention sur la Diversité Biologique (CDB).
Afin d’impliquer les acteurs économiques aux enjeux de la préservation de la biodiversité, notamment traduits dans la Convention sur la Diversité Biologique (CDB), adoptée en 1992 à Rio de Janeiro par les Nations unies, le Secrétariat de la CDB a créé une structure spécifique d’échange dénommée le Global Partnership for Business and Biodiversity (GPBB).
La Plateforme Entreprises & la Biodiversité est née de l'action du GPBB. Elle est gérée par l'association ORÉE, avec le soutien financier de l'OFB et l'apport d'un Comité technique.
Elle a pour objet de :
● relayer auprès la Convention sur la Diversité Biologique les pratiques
et initiatives de gestion de la biodiversité développées par les acteurs
économiques et institutions français ;
● présenter les différents acteurs ;
● permettre un partage de pratiques et de connaissances ;
● fournir des ressources (outils, travaux, etc.).
