Next Technology Tecnotassile (NTT) is a research body set up in Prato in 1972 to be the reference pole for technology transfer, innovation, support for research, development and training activities for companies in the textile, fashion sector and meccanotexile.
The over 40 years of activity in the sector, together with the numerous participations in research and development projects, have made it possible to structure a large network of ties and collaborations, in which the most relevant industrial realities, universities, research centers and companies of Service operating in Italy, Europe and in the rest of the world.
NTT aims to respond to the demand for technology from companies and requests for technology transfer from the institutional bodies, offering:
- ideas and support for the innovation of products, processes and services;
- partnership in research programs financed at regional, national and European level;
- Engineering services for the development of new machines and processing processes;
- realization of technological audits;
- Organization of thematic workshops, meetings with experts and sharing experiences and results of research and development activities
The quality of the services is ensured by a management system certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.
NTT is also enrolled in the MIUR Register of the Research Laboratories and recognized as a training agency by the Tuscany Region.Original language

Next Technology Tecnotessile (NTT) è un Organismo di Ricerca costituito a Prato nel 1972 per essere il polo di riferimento per il trasferimento tecnologico, l’innovazione, il supporto ad attività di ricerca, sviluppo e formazione a favore delle imprese del settore tessile, moda e meccanotessile.
Gli oltre 40 anni di attività nel settore, insieme alle numerose partecipazioni a progetti di ricerca e sviluppo, hanno permesso di strutturare una nutrita rete di legami e collaborazioni, nella quale si ritrovano le più rilevanti realtà industriali, università, centri di ricerca e aziende di servizio operanti in Italia, Europa e nel resto del mondo.
NTT si pone l’obiettivo di rispondere alla domanda di tecnologia proveniente dalle imprese ed alle richieste di trasferimento tecnologico provenienti dagli organi istituzionali, offrendo:
- idee e supporto per l’innovazione dei prodotti, dei processi e dei servizi;
- partnership in programmi di ricerca finanziati a livello regionale, nazionale ed europeo;
- servizi di ingegneria per lo sviluppo di nuove macchine e processi di lavorazione;
- realizzazione di audit tecnologici;
- organizzazione di workshop tematici, incontri con esperti e condivisione di esperienze e risultati delle attività di ricerca e sviluppo
La qualità dei servizi è assicurata da un sistema di gestione certificato secondo la norma UNI EN ISO 9001.
NTT è inoltre iscritta all’albo MIUR dei laboratori di ricerca e riconosciuta come Agenzia Formativa dalla Regione Toscana.
