Created in April 2018, the alliance for the preservation of forests is a European collective of responsible companies engaged in the fight against deforestation. We support companies using raw materials "at risk of deforestation" in their transition to responsible supplies.
Our role:

Créée en avril 2018, l’Alliance pour la Préservation des Forêts est un collectif européen d’entreprises responsables engagées dans la lutte contre la déforestation. Nous accompagnons les entreprises utilisatrices de matières premières « à risque de déforestation » dans leur transition vers des approvisionnements responsables.
Notre rôle :
- Outiller les entreprises pour les aider à réduire leur empreinte déforestation dans leur chaîne d’approvisionnement
- Partager les bonnes pratiques et mutualiser les moyens en vue d’accélérer l’amélioration des pratiques dans les entreprises comme dans les bassins de production
- Soutenir des projets de recherche et des projets terrain innovants dont l’objectif tend à concilier développement agricole et préservation des forêts
- Représenter un secteur privé engagé dans la lutte contre la déforestation importée auprès de nos parties prenantes : institutions publiques, associatives ou privées, de recherche, de formation, d’ingénierie et de maîtrises d’ouvrages, des organisations non gouvernementales, des organisations professionnelles, des acteurs publics ou privés des filières agricoles et forestières, en France et à l’international
- Informer et communiquer sur nos efforts à travers la publication d’un état des progrès accomplis dans la réalisation de nos engagements.
