Empreintes, née "Vivre son deuil", a vu le jour le 3 mars 1995. C'est une association Loi 1901 à but non lucratif, non confessionnelle, apolitique et reconnue "d'intérêt général". Marie Tournigand en est sa Déléguée Générale.
Ses missions sont multiples pour aider et faire évoluer le regard sur le deuil, y compris en entreprise :
- ACCOMPAGNEMENT des personnes en deuil, en entretiens, en groupes, ou via la plate-forme nationale gratuite d'écoute téléphonique (+33 (0)1 42 38 08 08) par des bénévoles et des professionnels.
- FORMATION : organisme de formation agréé sur le deuil, qui s'adresse aux particuliers et aux professionnels qui peuvent rencontrés des personnes en deuil dans le cadre de leur travail (professionnels de santé, paramédical, médico-social, social, psychologues, coach, ressources humaines, management, médecins du travail, spécialistes petite enfance, enseignants, conseillers d’orientation, services funéraires,....
- INFORMATION : institution reconnue qui émet différentes publications sur des thématiques complémentaires telles que le deuil, le suicide, le don du corps à la science, le deuil périnatal, les soins palliatifs, l'accompagnement ...
