[Automatic translation follows] Solutions and Technologies for Automated Driving in Town: to Urban Mobility Project
In the composite project, 22 companies from automotive and supply industry as well as universities and research institutions have come together. Supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, they will develop concepts tailored to the user needs and pilot applications of the consistent automated driving in urban space by the end of 2025. The focus is on the implementation of new, AI-based methods and their demonstration in automated driving systems, especially in complex traffic situations.

Solutions and Technologies for Automated Driving in Town: an urban mobility project
Im Verbundprojekt haben sich 22 Unternehmen aus Automobil- und Zulieferindustrie sowie Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen zusammengeschlossen. Unterstützt durch das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz entwickeln sie in dreijähriger Forschungsarbeit bis Ende 2025 auf die Nutzerbedürfnisse zugeschnittene Konzepte und Pilotapplikationen des durchgängigen automatisierten Fahrens im urbanen Raum. Schwerpunkte liegen in der Umsetzung neuer, KI-basierter Methoden und deren Demonstration in automatisierten Fahrsystemen, insbesondere bei komplexen Verkehrssituationen.
