L’association Les Extraordinaires met en lumière la différence dans notre société.
Sa mission est de valoriser les talents et les compétences des personnes en situation de handicap pour favoriser l’inclusion et l’emploi en milieu ordinaire.
Les Extraordinaires sont à l’initiative du premier restaurant inclusif de France, avec la création du Reflet à Nantes en 2016, puis d’un second établissement à Paris en 2019.
Depuis, l’association a fondé un collectif, Les Brigades Extraordinaires, qui accompagne les porteurs des projets et fédère les restaurants inclusifs. Le collectif compte aujourd’hui près d’une quarantaine de membres.
Parce que l’inclusion ne se résume pas à des restaurants inclusifs, l’association mène de nombreuses actions de sensibilisation auprès du grand public et des employeurs, pour que demain chaque personne qui le souhaite puisse trouver sa place en milieu pleinement ordinaire.
