The Madrid delegation was born by mandate of the AEIT General Assembly in 2009, in order to continue completing the territorial model and giving a proximity service in a region that concentrates around 40% of the associates.
The AEIT Madrid delegation is currently being in charge of managing the resources of the Association coordinating with this for the organization, management and financing of events and events held in this community.
Likewise, the delegation has as its priority lines the intensification of relations with the government and educational institutions of the community, the promotion of the incorporation and participation of young people in Madrid and the provision of tools that facilitate reorientation and professional recycling to facilitate access to the labor market.

La Asociación Española de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (de aquí en adelante AEIT) es una entidad de índole profesional regulada por derecho privado, cuya creación se remonta al año 1932.
La AEIT está integrada por Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de toda España y tiene como objetivos prioritarios, entre otros, velar por el prestigio moral, social y técnico de nuestros profesionales; contribuir al desarrollo y progreso de nuestra rama de Ingeniería; fomentar y estrechar los lazos de unión y compañerismo entre los asociados; fomentar las relaciones con entidades análogas tanto nacionales como extranjeras, así como participar y organizar congresos, encuentros y conferencias y todas aquellas manifestaciones que fomentan el progreso y el intercambio de todo tipo de conocimientos relacionados con la Ingeniería de Telecomunicación.
En la actualidad la Asociación agrupa a un total de 11.000 asociados repartidos en toda España, lo cual ha supuesto una necesaria estructuración a través de Delegaciones en las Comunidades Autónomas y mediante acuerdos de estrecha colaboración con las Asociaciones de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación Territoriales.
La Delegación de Madrid nace por mandato de la Asamblea General de la AEIT en 2009, con el objeto de seguir completando el modelo territorial y dar un servicio de proximidad en una región que concentra alrededor del 40% de los Asociados.
La Delegación de Madrid de la AEIT actualmente se está encargando de gestionar los recursos de la Asociación coordinándose con esta para la organización, gestión y financiación de actos y eventos realizados en esta Comunidad.
Asimismo, la Delegación tiene como líneas de trabajo prioritarias la intensificación de las relaciones con las instituciones gubernamentales y educativas de la Comunidad, el fomento de la incorporación y la participación de los jóvenes en Madrid y la provisión de herramientas que faciliten la reorientación y reciclaje profesional para facilitar el acceso al mercado de trabajo.
