Aujourd’hui, 1 enfant sur 100 naît avec une cardiopathie congénitale !
Fort de ce constat et riche d’une expérience personnelle, Petit Cœur de Beurre voit le jour en 2014 à l’initiative de parents qui ont souhaité se mobiliser et agir pour améliorer le quotidien des enfants atteints de maladies cardiaques congénitales.
Dans une logique d’accompagnement et de soutien des enfants/adultes et leurs familles, l’association collabore étroitement avec les structures hospitalières pour offrir un environnement convivial empreint d’animations et de divertissements essentiels, à la guérison.
Elle joue également un rôle majeur en participant au financement de programmes de recherche en cardiopédiatrie.
Grâce à vos dons et financements d’actions spécifiques, Petit Cœur de Beurre soutenue par un écosystème de 45 bénévoles (recrutés et formés), d'un grand nombre de partenaires et sa marraine Natasha St Pierre, intervient à différents niveaux : du séjour à l’hôpital jusqu’au retour à domicile, de l’enfant scolarisé à l’insertion professionnelle, de la pratique des sports et des loisirs...
Petit Cœur de Beurre a un rayonnement national et tout particulièrement dans les grandes villes dotées de services de chirurgie cardiopédiatrique et /ou d’unités de cardiopathies congénitales.
L’association a signé des conventions de partenariat avec différents hôpitaux nationaux afin d’intervenir au plus proche des patients.
