Description
  • Value proposition

Every day since 1892, we have been promoting, protecting and improving business.

We work to help local businesses grow – and we’ve done that with pride and pleasure since 1892 when we started as the Beaufort Board of Trade. Our successes include ribbon cuttings for new businesses, gaining federal approval for five squadrons of F-35 Joint Strike Fighters at Marine Corps Air Station-Beaufort with a near-term $350+ million economic impact, and working with local, state and federal legislators to boost our economy.

We serve a community of small businesses – some 2,600 businesses are located within 30 miles of Beaufort, employing 24,000 people. More than 90 percent of these businesses employ fewer than 100 people, and these businesses employ an average of nine people.

These small businesses depend on the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce to advocate their positions to local, state and federal leaders; to provide information on how they can improve their business; to help them connect; and to provide the support that helps level the field.

Welcome to the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, and welcome to the Lowcountry!
