Historia:
Digitanimal es una empresa que surge como satélite de la compañía Sensowave, con el objetivo de desarrollar soluciones para animales, principalmente en el sector de la producción ganadera.
Mientras Sensowave se dedica al desarrollo de dispositivos de Internet de las Cosas (IoT) y plataformas web en el ámbito de los sectores industriales y de defensa, Digitanimal nace de la necesidad de uno de los socios fundadores por solucionar los problemas que se presentan en su explotación ganadera.
Para nuestras investigaciones, disponer de una ganadería propia ha permitido validar las diferentes versiones de los prototipos que se han desarrollado desde 2014 y comenzar a trabajar en el desarrollo de algoritmos de Inteligencia Artificial.

A pesar de que nos preocupa nuestro aspecto, como sociedad no somos conscientes de que somos lo que comemos, y la cría de ganado en pastoreo es muy costosa porque requiere de mucho trabajo.
Objetivos:
La doble finalidad de Digitanimal es, por un lado ofrecer una herramienta que permita dar solución a la problemática de localización de animales, evitando así el robo y el extravío de los mismos.
Y por otro lado, controlar el estado del animal, evitando pérdidas y aportando a los ganaderos y consumidores finales información rigurosa sobre el bienestar animal, basada en los registros recopilados por los sensores de actividad, temperatura y geolocalización.
