Le SAMU reçoit un appel pour un arrêt cardiaque, il envoie les secours puis déclenche l’application afin de de géolocaliser les citoyens-sauveteurs situés à proximité.
Ceux-ci reçoivent l’alerte par SMS, décident d’y répondre ou pas. Ceux qui ont répondu sont guidés vers la victime.
Sur place, les volontaires effectuent les gestes d’urgence en attendant les secours. Ils sont aidés à distance par les régulateurs du SAMU qui sont formés à cette assistance.
Les secours arrivent et prennent le relais des citoyens-sauveteurs.
