The French Federation of Omnisports Clubs (FFCO) brings together French Omnisports clubs. La Fédération Française des Clubs Omnisports (FFCO) réunit les clubs omnisports français. Créée en 1978 sous le nom de Groupement National des Clubs Omnisports (GNCO), la FFCO rassemble depuis un nombre croissant de clubs dont la diversité fait sa richesse. Titulaire d'un agrément ministériel, la FFCO est aujourd'hui le représentant officiel des clubs omnisports sur le territoire français. Elle assure leur représentation auprès des institutions sportives et étatiques.
La FFCO a pour principal but de défendre les « valeurs de l'omnisports », dont elle assure la promotion dans ses publications, ses colloques et ses événements ; et également de garantir à ses clubs adhérents une assistance juridique : ainsi, elle organise des formations et propose des fiches techniques, des publications diverses et un suivi permanent de l'actualité juridique.
Dans le cadre de l’olympisme et l’économie sociale, la fédération a différentes missions :
- Favoriser, promouvoir, informer, défendre les clubs sportifs ;
- Aider les clubs à s'organiser, rechercher les informations juridiques, fiscales, sociales, etc. les concernant ;
- Mettre en place les formations nécessaires et rechercher les financements adaptés ;
- Dialoguer, proposer, échanger les expériences, apporter entraide et assistance ;
- Développer dans ce domaine les relations entre tous les partenaires concernés (collectivités publiques, associations, école, université, entreprises...) ;
- Favoriser l’animation dans les territoires de proximité ;
- Favoriser la mutualisation des moyens et des achats ;
- Défendre et représenter les intérêts de ses membres notamment dans toute instance de concertation.
