Endomind undertakes to participate alongside them in the opening of mind of society and in the development of the link between patients, associations and professionals.
Endomind does not wish to be an association of more patients but rather an association which brings its skills and its network to all those who work in favor of endometriosis.
Our objectives are therefore to help, support, enhance all initiatives or projects that allow more visibility to endometriosis as well as to advance for its recognition as a real public health issue.
Our areas of action:
- collaborative work and awareness -raising with professionals and health institutions to manage to build a real care path dedicated to disease and advance research;
- Advocacy with public institutions and elected officials;
- Support for individual and collective initiatives: provision of communication systems, participation in conferences, valuation on our social networks;
- Organization of local and national and international major events;
- provision of information or orientation of women to suitable care structures;
- Daily watch and communication on news related to disease on our social networks.
The association wishes to respect an independent and neutral positioning vis-à-vis all the other actors, without taking a partisan position.
Endomind France, association law 1901, is recognized as a public utility.

ENDOmind s’engage à participer à leurs côtés à l’ouverture d’esprit de la société et au développement du lien entre les patientes, les associations et les professionnels.
ENDOmind ne souhaite pas être une association de patientes de plus mais bien une association qui apporte ses compétences et son réseau à tous ceux qui œuvrent en faveur de l’endométriose.
Nos objectifs sont donc d’aider, de soutenir, de valoriser toutes les initiatives ou les projets qui permettent de donner plus de visibilité à l’endométriose ainsi que d’avancer pour sa reconnaissance en tant que véritable enjeu de santé publique.
Nos domaines d'action :
- travail collaboratif et de sensibilisation avec les professionnels et les institutions de santé pour parvenir à construire un véritable parcours de soin dédié à la maladie et faire avancer la recherche ;
- plaidoyer auprès des institutions publiques et des élus ;
- soutien d'initiatives individuelles et collectives : mise à disposition de dispositifs de communication, participation à des colloques, valorisation sur nos réseaux sociaux ;
- organisation d'évènements locaux et d'envergure nationale et internationale ;
- mise à disposition d'informations ou orientation des femmes vers des structures de prise en charge adaptées ;
- veille et communication quotidienne sur les actualités en lien avec la maladie sur nos réseaux sociaux.
L’association tient à respecter un positionnement indépendant et neutre vis-à-vis de tous les autres acteurs, sans prise de position partisane.

L’endométriose est une maladie décrite depuis l’Antiquité, identifiée au XIXe siècle et très peu étudiée car jugée pendant très longtemps comme un problème féminin par le monde médical et scientifique, souvent rangée dans la psychiatrie. En 1860, un médecin autrichien d’origine tchèque, Karel Von Rokitansky (1804-1878), identifie cette maladie sous le terme de cystosarcome.
