    Aloen was founded in 2005 on the initiative of Lorient Agglomeration, Ademe Brittany and the Regional Council. It is made up of a board of directors (representative of civil society) and a team of around thirty employees who deploy all their talents to a large territory going from the country of Lorient to the borders of Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique via Belle-Ile-en-Mer and Blavet Bellevue Océan.

    The objectives of Aloen are now multiple:
    - Information and awareness of citizens and economic actors in the territory on energy, societal and environmental,
    - networking of local actors (communities, associations, companies, training organizations, etc.), to accelerate the energy transition on the territories,
    - expertise and advice to support communities in their habitat and energy policies,
    - Support for social landlords and their tenants, to implement participatory procedures for monitoring energy consumption,
    - Development of a resource center for all residents of the territory.

    Historically, Aloen has developed around his mission of advice to residents for the energy renovation of their accommodation, which is why our premises are located at the Lorient Info Habitat area. Over time, thanks to an ever stronger network of actors and fruitful partnerships, we have developed a multitude of projects to deal with the many challenges of climate change.

    L’Agence Locale de l’Energie et du Climat de Bretagne Sud ! 🌞

    ALOEN a été fondée en 2005 à l'initiative de Lorient Agglomération, de l’ADEME Bretagne et du Conseil régional. Elle est composée d’un Conseil d’Administration (représentatif de la société civile) et d’une équipe d'une trentaine de salarié·es qui déploient tous leurs talents sur un vaste territoire allant du Pays de Lorient aux confins d’Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique en passant par Belle-Ile-en-Mer et Blavet Bellevue Océan.

    Les objectifs d'ALOEN sont aujourd'hui multiples :
    - information et sensibilisation des citoyens et acteurs économiques du territoire sur les enjeux énergétiques, sociétaux et environnementaux,
    - mise en réseau des acteurs locaux (collectivités, associations, entreprises, organismes de formation, etc.), pour accélérer la transition énergétique sur les territoires,
    - expertise et conseil pour soutenir les collectivités dans leurs politiques de l’habitat et de l’énergie,
    - accompagnement des bailleurs sociaux et de leurs locataires, pour mettre en œuvre des démarches participatives de suivi des consommations énergétiques,
    - développement d'un centre de ressources pour tous les habitants du territoire.

    Historiquement, ALOEN s’est développée autour de sa mission de conseil aux habitants pour la rénovation énergétique de leur logement, c’est pourquoi nos locaux sont situés à l’Espace Info habitat de Lorient. Au fil du temps, grâce à un réseau d’acteurs toujours plus forts et des partenariats fructueux, nous avons développé une multitude de projets pour faire face aux nombreux défis du changement climatique.
