The Orygeen Institute is a non-profit association chaired by Jean-Paul Torris aimed at encouraging manufacturers to act on their energy performance. Several actions are carried out in order to better inform companies about energy efficiency and renewable energies.
The Institute organizes, under the high patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the National Convention "in Carreprises 2020" on November 3, 2020. The Orygeen Institute organizes, under the highlight of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the delivery of energy performance trophies of the food industry within the SIAL. The trophies reward French companies conducting structured, sustainable and ambitious approaches to energy optimization on their industrial sites to greatly reduce their CO2 emissions and increase their competitiveness.
Since 2010, the Institute has produced several observatories on the energy maturity of agrifood manufacturers in France and Spain, or on the plastics sector in Hauts-de-France. The raison d'être of these observatories is mainly to provide a benchmark tool for manufacturers.

Inciter les entreprises à s’engager dans la transition écologique
L’Institut Orygeen est une association à but non lucratif présidée par Jean-Paul Torris ayant pour vocation d’inciter les industriels à agir sur leur performance énergétique. Plusieurs actions sont menées afin de mieux informer les entreprises sur l’efficacité énergétique et les énergies renouvelables.
L’Institut organise, sous le haut patronage du Ministère de l’Economie et des Finances, la Convention Nationale “EnRentreprises 2020” le 3 Novembre 2020. Il s'agit de sensibiliser à la consommation d'énergie et de démontrer les avantages remarquables des énergies renouvelables comme avantage compétitif.
L’Institut Orygeen a également lancé “Le Club des Entrepreneurs pour le Climat” qui s’engage à travailler ensemble pour décarboner la totalité de leur consommation énergétique, et à inspirer par l’exemple les autres entreprises.
l’Institut Orygeen organise, sous le haut-patronage du Ministère de l’Agriculture et de l’Alimentation, la remise de Trophées de la Performance Énergétique de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire au sein du SIAL. Les Trophées récompensent les entreprises françaises menant des démarches structurées, pérennes et ambitieuses d’optimisation énergétique sur leurs sites industriels pour réduire fortement leurs émissions de CO2 et augmenter leur compétitivité.
Depuis 2010, l’Institut réalise plusieurs observatoires sur la Maturité Énergétique des industriels de l’agroalimentaire en France et en Espagne, ou encore sur la filière plasturgie en Hauts-de-France. La raison d’être de ces observatoires est principalement de fournir un outil de benchmark pour les industriels.
