The ETIC packaging association was created in January 2019 to combat the generalization of disposable packaging and their harmful effects on the planet and our health. Based in Toulouse, it was recognized as a general interest.

- Awareness of the preservation of the environment;

From its creation, the association set up a first alternative to disposable packaging. The “in box the dish” project was born.
Its objective is to facilitate the changes of habit to get out of all-games by offering a reusable, simple and accessible alternative: glass boxes recorded for take-out catering.
"In a box the dish" is based on a network of businesses engaged against the disposable to allow everyone to eat without generating unnecessary waste.
First local initiative, the association has supported other associations since 2020 to develop the project on their territory. A new swarming and network animation activity has been formalized within ETIC packaging.
Thanks to this, today 7 territories and local associations disseminate the instructions on their territory! We are now deployed in Toulouse, Rennes, Compiègne, La Côte d'Azur, Besançon, Saint-Etienne and La Rochelle!
In November 2022, in order to carry this support activity of new collectives, the National Box Association was created Le Plat France, piloted in collective by carrier associations, and 2 of the co-founders of EIC, Céline and Jonathan!
The ETIC packaging association is currently made up of:

L'association ETIC emballages a été créée en janvier 2019 pour lutter contre la généralisation des emballages jetables et leurs effets néfastes sur la planète et notre santé. Basée à Toulouse, elle a été reconnue d’intérêt général.
Son objet social est structuré autour de 3 axes :
- Mettre en place des alternatives consignées à l’utilisation d’emballages à usage unique ;
- Sensibiliser à la préservation de l’environnement ;
- Promouvoir l’économie circulaire !
Dès sa création, l’association a mis sur pied une première alternative aux emballages jetables. Le projet “En boîte le plat” est né.
Son objectif est de faciliter les changements d’habitude pour sortir du tout-jetable en proposant une alternative réutilisable, simple et accessible : des boîtes en verre consignées pour la restauration à emporter.
“En boîte le plat” s’appuie sur un réseau de commerces engagés contre le jetable pour permettre à chacun·e de manger sans générer de déchets inutiles.
Initiative d'abord locale, l'association a accompagné depuis 2020 d'autres associations à développer le projet sur leur territoire. Une nouvelle activité d'essaimage et d'animation de réseau s'est formalisée au sein d'ETIC emballages.
Grâce à cela, ce sont aujourd'hui 7 territoires et associations locales qui diffusent la consigne sur leur territoire ! Nous sommes maintenant déployés à Toulouse, Rennes, Compiègne, La Côte d'Azur, Besançon, Saint-Etienne et La Rochelle !
En Novembre 2022, afin de porter cette activité d'accompagnement de nouveaux collectifs, s'est créée l'association nationale En Boîte Le Plat France, pilotée en collectif par les associations porteuses, et 2 des co-fondateurs d'ETIC, Céline et Jonathan !
L'association ETIC emballages est actuellement constituée de :
- 5 bénévoles au CA
- 4 salarié·es
- 60 adhérent·es
- 15 bénévoles
