    Home of the Shingo Prize

Part of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University and home of the Shingo Prize, the Shingo Institute supports organizations on their journey to organizational excellence. We do this through executive education, world-class recognition, and research based on the Shingo ModelTM. The Shingo Model (shingo.org/shingo-model) illustrates how creating organizational culture around principles and linking them to business systems and tools drives sustainable improvement and long-term results. If you're interested in Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or organizational excellence, please join us at http://shingo.org .

    Education –

Shingo Model Workshops: Our Licensed Affiliates offer Shingo-developed courses throughout the world.

Study Tours: Each year we take groups of leaders to visit inspiring, world-class organizations in fascinating parts of the world, including Japan.

Annual Shingo Conference: Each year the Shingo Institute hosts an international conference attracting hundreds of leaders from around the world to participate in keynote addresses, breakout sessions, workshops and the annual Awards Gala.

    Recognition –

The Shingo Prize has become the highest standard for excellence in the world. Organizations choose to challenge for the Shingo Prize after years of working to instill a world-class organizational culture. Applicants find the feedback from Shingo examiners invaluable as well as the opportunity to band together to work toward the ultimate stretch goal for any organization on the Lean journey.
