Le Consortium de recherche et innovations en bioprocédés industriels au Québec (CRIBIQ) est un organisme à but non lucratif (OBNL) créé en 2008 grâce au soutien financier du gouvernement du Québec.
En tant que regroupement sectoriel de recherche industrielle, sa mission est de promouvoir et soutenir la réalisation de projets innovants dans les filières industrielles de la bioéconomie au Québec.
La dynamique du CRIBIQ s'articule autour de trois secteurs industriels :
1. Le secteurs des bioproduits industriels qui regroupe l’ensemble des activités liées à la production de produits fabriqués à partir de biomasse d’origine végétale, animale, microbienne ou résiduelle (bioénergie, chimie biosourcée, matériaux biosourcés);
2. Le secteur de l'environnement qui regroupe l’ensemble des activités liées à la conception et l’utilisation de procédés de traitement de l’air, de l’eau, des sols et des matières résiduelles;
3. Le secteur Agroalimentaire qui regroupe l’ensemble des activités liées à la production agricole, aux pêches et à l’aquaculture, à la transformation des aliments et boissons, à l’élaboration de bio-ingrédients actifs et d’aliments fonctionnels, ainsi que la distribution alimentaire.
