Committed to supporting general interest projects in favour of the ecological and societal transition.
Created in June 2020 and sheltered by the Fondation de France, the Setec Foundation, is dedicated to funding initiatives that directly contribute to the environmental transformation in the fight against climate change, biodiversity restoration, and marine environment conservation.
Aware of the significant social and societal problems associated with environmental change, the foundation considers fight against poverty (precariousness, energy sovereignty, food, transparency, access to education and treatment, ...) to be an important corollary of its action.
The Foundation supports cultural activities that raise social questions about these themes. And the Foundation is particularly responsive to projects with social vocations such as integration, training, and education.
The Setec Foundation is sheltered by the Fondation de France. In this context, it has committed to an initial endowment of 200,000 euros over 5 years (2020-2024).
This sum can be supplemented by contribution from other partners, development of co-financing and individual contribution.
The Setec Foundation has awarded 188 000 euros in total to the winners of the 2020 and 2021 call for projets thanks to the additional contributions of the Setec Group’s subsidiaries to its endowment.

Engagée à accompagner des projets d'intérêt général en faveur de la transition écologique et sociétale.
Créée en juin 2020, la Fondation setec, abritée par la Fondation de France, s’engage à accompagner des projets contribuant concrètement à la transition environnementale en matière de lutte contre le dérèglement climatique, de préservation de la biodiversité et de protection des milieux aquatiques.
Consciente des forts enjeux sociaux et sociétaux associés à la transition environnementale, elle fait de la lutte contre la pauvreté (précarité, autonomie énergétique, alimentation, désenclavement, accès à l’éducation et aux soins, ...) un corollaire indispensable de son action.
De même, elle accompagne des actions culturelles d’interrogations sociétales sur ces thèmes. Insertion, formation, éducation, la Fondation setec est sensible à la vocation sociale des projets.
La Fondation setec est abritée par la Fondation de France. Dans ce contexte, elle s’est engagée sur une dotation initiale de 200 000 euros sur 5 ans (2020-2024). La Fondation a déjà remis un total de 471 000 euros aux structures accompagnées depuis sa création.
