A public interest group, Canceropôle brings together and serves the academic, scientific, medical and industrial community of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Since 2003, it has acted at the heart of an ecosystem of excellence, to implement the national policy to combat cancer in a regional strategy for the benefit of patients.

Our mission: to propel anti-cancer research and innovations, from fundamental discoveries to therapeutic applications. Listening to needs, we lead, support and accompany researchers and teams in different disciplines to accelerate progress towards the therapies of tomorrow. We promote the maturation and transfer of research results to medicine and industry, to develop new tools, diagnostics and treatments more quickly.
