Fondazione Onda is the National Observatory on Woman and Gender Health, established in Milan in 2005 at the behest of some professionals already engaged in various capacities in activities related to female health. Fondazione Onda è l'Osservatorio nazionale sulla salute della donna e di genere, costituito a Milano nel 2005 per volere di alcuni professionisti già impegnati a vario titolo in attività inerenti la salute femminile. L’Osservatorio ha raccolto nel tempo l’adesione di diverse personalità di spicco del mondo medico-scientifico ed accademico, che offrono a tutt’oggi il loro contributo professionale nel Consiglio Direttivo, nel Comitato d’Onore, nell’Advisory Board Bollini Rosa e nel Comitato Tecnico-Scientifico.
Onda si propone come modello innovativo di attenzione alla salute femminile, declinando il proprio impegno nelle diverse fasi che caratterizzano la vita della donna, in tutte le fasce di età.
L’obiettivo di Onda è promuovere una cultura della salute di genere a livello istituzionale, sanitario-assistenziale, scientifico-accademico e sociale per garantire alle donne il diritto alla salute secondo principi di equità e pari opportunità.
