Economically disadvantaged Belgian students are the equivalent of three school years behind their wealthier peers in terms of knowledge.

Teach for Belgium is a NGO working to expand educational opportunity by enlisting a movement of motivated people in the effort. We aspire to the vision that one day, all children will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.

Teach for Belgium brings and adapts the successful model of Teach for All (www.teachforall.org) to Belgium. Teach for All is catalyzing an international movement to expand educational opportunity. Teach for All addresses educational need in countries around the world by supporting the development of organizations that enlist their nations’ most promising future leaders in committing two years to teach in high-need areas and becoming long-term alumni who work from inside and outside the field of education to address the root causes of the problem.
