Natran Deutschland is a fully-owned subsidiary of the French company Natran SA. As a shareholder of MEGAL, Natran Deutschland works as an operator of this gas pipeline system in Germany.

With its pipeline system the ITO-certified transmission system operator Natran Deutschland GmbH connects the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and France.

The transmission system includes major border crossing points such as Waidhaus, Oberkappel and Medelsheim.

As an essential link between Eastern and Western Europe, the system operated by Natran Deutschland plays a key role in supplying gas to Southern Germany and France. Through the central position of its network, Natran Deutschland contributes to the diversification of gas supply sources and to increasing the liquidity of the gas market.
