Habitat for Humanity Heartland and Brant Norfolk Chapter believe everyone deserves a decent and affordable place to call home. We welcome partners without discrimination to help us build safe, affordable homes together with local families who qualify. The goal of Habitat for Humanity is to help people achieve the reality of home ownership through an affordable mortgage and partnership. YOU can help make affordable home ownership a reality for more people in our communities! Community donations, volunteers and donated materials help keep the cost of building homes lower. But there are many costs before construction can even begin, such as land purchase, environmental studies, design and engineering services, etc. As a builder, we follow all build codes with work such as plumbing and electrical completed by certified skilled tradespeople. Your donations and ongoing support allow us to continue our work to build safe, decent and affordable homes that empower families to build strength, stability and a better life for themselves and their children. The best part of giving to Habitat for Humanity is knowing when you donate a dollar, that dollar keeps on giving! It is re-invested into a home where affordable mortgage payments will (eventually) pay for future homes. The more you donate, the more impact you can have on building better healthier lives and strengthening families and our community, together.
