The AIFE is an State Agency for Financial Information Technology and a part of the Ministry of Finance. Its main missions are:
- To drive the software Architecture of the State Financial Information System (SIFE)
- To maintain in operational condition the "Chorus" Information System (non-tax income, expense management and accounting of the State)
- To drive and implement new ministerial or cross-ministerial projects into the Chorus Information System
- To help the change management in ministries and to users

L'AIFE (Agence pour l'Informatique Financière de l’État) est un service à compétence nationale rattaché au ministère de l’Économie et des Finances en charge du Système d’Information Chorus et qui propose des solutions de dématérialisation au profit de l’ensemble des personnes publiques et des entreprises.
Les missions de l'AIFE sont :
► Piloter l'urbanisation du Système d'Information Financière de l'État
► Maintenir en condition opérationnelle le système d'information Chorus de gestion financière de l’État et de dépôt des factures électroniques de la sphère publique
► Maintenir en condition opérationnelle PLACE, la plateforme des achats de l’État
► Piloter de nouveaux projets interministériels ou ministériels et leur intégration dans le système d'information Chorus
►Accompagner le changement auprès des utilisateurs
► Exercer l’ensemble de ses missions pour le compte de l'Etat et plus généralement pour l’ensemble de la sphère publique
