    About Blossom: https://blossom.docsend.com/view/wgvava6

Blossom makes it easy and profitable to help eliminate poverty by investing in micro-businesses in Indonesia. Blossom crowdsources international capital and invests it into profitable microfinance using a sharia model called mudaraba. Mudaraba financing shares profits between investors and entrepreneurs. Blossom's investors make money by collecting a share of the profit from the businesses that their investment helped to create and grow.

Blossom partners with local microfinance institutions to better service local communities as well as address the unique underwriting challenges within Indonesia, a widely culturally and regionally diverse country. Blossom's funded entrepreneurs receive in-person visits instead of waiting in line at a bank, as well as free education and training services. Blossom's investors gain access to a richness of proven underwriting experience spanning multiple regions and verticals.

Blossom is currently in private beta. Blossom was founded in 2014 by Matthew Joseph Martin, a veteran of Silicon Valley venture capital funded financial technology startups. Blossom was a participant of the Boost VC incubator program and is funded by Silicon Valley angel investors including Tim Draper of DFJ.
