Créées en 1999 par la Communauté urbaine de Dunkerque et l’ADEME, puis co-organisées par Bordeaux Métropole depuis 2015, les Assises Européennes de la Transition Énergétique sont le rendez-vous annuel des acteurs européens engagés dans la transition énergétique des territoires.
Transport, urbanisme, agriculture, économie, nouvelles technologies, gestion des systèmes d’information, nouvelles solidarités et coopération : pendant 3 jours, près de 3500 congressistes sont attendus chaque année pour échanger et partager leur expérience de la transition énergétique à travers une centaine de rendez-vous : plénières, ateliers d’échange et de co-création.
S’approprier de manière collective la nouvelle réglementation nationale et internationale, créer de nouveaux outils, développer de nouveaux modes de coopération, partager des expériences réussies : telle est l’ambition de ce temps fort européen.
Récemment, la Ville et l'Eurométropole de Strasbourg ainsi que Dijon Métropole ont rejoint le comité d'organisation des Assises Européennes de la Transition Energétique et accueilleront successivement l'événement en 2025 et 2026.
