Avec plus de 75 millions de voyages annuels enregistrés, le réseau Lignes d’Azur dessert 550 000 habitants répartis sur les 49 communes de la Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur.
L’exploitation du réseau est opérée par RLA (Régie Ligne d’Azur), entreprise de plus de 1 500 salariés qui assurent au quotidien leur mission de service public. Grande entreprise, RLA est une structure familiale qui s’appuie sur son passé et son ADN humain pour aller vers l’avenir. Depuis son passage en régie, en septembre 2013, son effectif a très fortement augmenté afin de faire face aux projets de très grandes envergures réalisés ces dernières années : extension du réseau tram et restructuration des lignes de bus.
L’arrivée des 2 nouvelles lignes de tramway (L2/L3) contribue à faire évoluer les modes de déplacement des habitants et vient compléter l’offre de transport. Le réseau Lignes d’Azur est désormais composé de :
3 lignes de tramway :
- Ligne 1, desservant Nice du Nord à l’Est
- Ligne 2, Ouest-Est, reliant l’Aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur au Port de Nice avec un pôle d’échange à l’Arénas et une antenne desservant le Centre Administratif (CADAM)
- Ligne 3, permettant de dynamiser l’éco-quartier de la plaine du Var depuis l’Aéroport jusqu’à Saint Isidore avec notamment la desserte du Stade de Nice
et de + de 97 lignes de bus structurées grâce à la création de catégorisations de lignes.
Un réseau qui a été profondément repensé pour offrir aux niçois une nouvelle offre de mobilité afin de permettre aux usagers de se déplacer plus rapidement mais également de voyager plus tôt et plus tard en se repérant facilement.
