La naissance de l’agence s’est amorcée il y a plus de 15 ans. Depuis, nous avons remporté successivement le prix Tony Garnier en 2005, livré une vingtaine de bâtiments, œuvré dans l’énergie positive par la construction d’une maison expérimentale à Reims en 2010, et la rénovation urbaine du centre de Mouvaux en écoquartier à énergie positive.
L’agence, en plus de mêler architecture et urbanisme, cherche à rester pluridisciplinaire. Ainsi, nous travaillons dans tous les domaines : logement collectif, équipements publics (sportifs, scolaires et culturels), bâtiments tertiaires, ...
Elle regroupe actuellement une quarantaine de personnes. Développement durable signifie pour nous « Penser sur le long terme », c’est aussi notre engagement vis-à-vis de nos collaborateurs qui ont en charge des projets du début à la fin. Cette vision et organisation assurent une véritable coordination et un suivi profond des projets. Aujourd’hui l’agence est dotée d’une équipe cohérente, motivée et rigoureuse avec une réelle conscience du travail et des attendus de l’agence, ce qui assurent une reconnaissance de nos maîtres d’ouvrage.
L’agence a également une filiale à Sarreguemines en Lorraine, ainsi qu'une filiale à Montpellier.
Dans l’optique d’intégrer au mieux l’aspect technique que présente aujourd’hui l’ensemble des réglementations liées à la thermique, et ce dès la conception du projet, aEa s’est dotée dernièrement d’une structure nommée aEi (i pour ingénierie). Elle regroupe l’ensemble des compétences (structures, économie de la construction...).
