The Mayan group is a set of new generation solutions to the adaptation of our territories in the face of climate and hydrological risks. This is the bet that we set ourselves by developing the Mayan group. This involves the change in R & Amp; D actions of fundamental research, always essential, to operational and territorial research.
Built around a transversal and multidisciplinary approach, the Mayan group has brought together researchers and engineers from distinct fields (hydrology and hydraulic, social psychology, geographies, pedagogy, communication, etc.), to build suitable and adaptable solutions to each new territory in order to increase its resilience.
Our skills allow us to support local and private communities on a daily basis in managing their risks.
From the municipality to the watershed, family unit or even decision -makers stimulating public policies, Mayane supports each territory by adaptation strategies bringing meaning and efficiency to the actions deployed to better face the major challenges of tomorrow.

Le groupe Mayane est un ensemble de solutions nouvelle génération à l’adaptation de nos territoires face aux risques climatiques et hydrologiques. Nous analysons et traduisons les phénomènes complexes pour développer une stratégie globale, cohérente et concertée afin de sensibiliser et préparer l’ensemble des acteurs (gestionnaires, tissus économiques, populations) aux risques et catastrophes majeurs.
À la lumière de l’ensemble des situations de crises que nous vivons en France et partout dans le monde à chaque nouvelle inondation ou extrêmes climatiques et face à une recrudescence récente des évènements, il apparaît essentiel de réinventer l’accompagnement des territoires dans leur démarche de gestion du risque.
Aider les décideurs à prendre les décisions les plus ajustées aux réactions de leur territoire, tout en tenant compte des dernières avancées scientifiques apparaît aujourd’hui fondamental pour rendre nos territoires plus résilients. C’est le pari que nous nous sommes fixés en développant le groupe Mayane. Cela passe par la mutation des actions de R&D de la recherche fondamentale, toujours essentielle, à une recherche opérationnelle et territoriale.
Construite autour d’une approche transversale et pluridisciplinaire, le Groupe Mayane a su rassembler des chercheurs et ingénieurs de domaines distincts (hydrologie et hydraulique, psychologie sociale, géographies, pédagogie, communication, etc.), pour construire des solutions adaptées et adaptables à chaque nouveau territoire afin d’en accroître la résilience.
Nos compétences nous permettent d’accompagner au quotidien collectivités locales et privés dans la gestion de leur risques.
De la commune au bassin versant, cellule familiale ou encore décideurs impulsant les politiques publiques, Mayane accompagne chaque territoire par des stratégies d'adaptation apportant sens et efficience aux actions déployées pour mieux faire face aux grands enjeux de demain.
