The Navigation, Innovation and Support Program. A Key Enabler for Innovation and Competitiveness within the PNT Sector.

NAVISP is an Optional Program of the European Space Agency initiated in 2017 to support the generation and introduction of innovation in various PNT market segments.

• All Member and associate Member States can subscribe to the program
• At today close to 200 activities financed with (EUR) 100M drawn from the contributions of Participating States
• Consists of 3 elements depending on the leading actor: ESA, industry or Member States

The main goal of NAVISP is to generate innovative concepts, techniques, technologies and systems linked to the PNT sector in the highly competitive and evolving global market for PNT technologies.

• Aims to support Participating States in enhancing their national objectives and capabilities in the sector.
• Support industry to strengthen the technology readiness level of their PNT products and services.
• Leverages on ESA expertise gained through Galileo, EGNOS and Navigation programs and the industrial base of the European navigation sector.
