These two distinct entities from each other, operate in total legal independence, financial, Balicina offering a natural gateway to the prescribed balneotherapy care (rehabilitation, swimmers, etc.). This complementarity draws a new health and social care brand of proximity care, for a global management of the person and their health career, integrating the three dimensions of health: prevention, care and well-being.
By hosting a hospital activity (Civil Hospices in Lyon, Center Léon-Bérard), this model reaffirms the ethical values of the liberal exercise of medicine, one of which can be recalled: the freedom of choice of the patient and also integrates the values of the hospital (charity, care, teaching/research), to deploy a project in the health service.

Votre pôle de santé pluridisciplinaire au cœur du 8ème arrondissement de Lyon
Le projet de santé Medicina porté par le Docteur Luc Fontaine depuis plus de 15 ans, réunit les compétences humaines nécessaires (médecin/ingénieur/manager) à la création d’un modèle d’organisation de santé modernisant l’offre de soins de proximité.
Il s’inscrit dans la complémentarité de la démographie sanitaire territoriale existante (cabinets, maisons de santé, Hôpitaux, EHPAD, associations etc...), en tant que Pôle de Santé Pluridisciplinaire “PSP“ et rassemble, en une unité de lieu, une expertise clinique de qualité dans sa complémentarité interprofessionnelle et dans sa dimension interdisciplinaire, portée par une centaine de praticiens médicaux et paramédicaux toutes spécialités confondues, libéraux et hospitaliers. Chaque praticien est profondément respecté dans son statut, tant juridique que clinique, conservant la liberté de s’installer en signant la charte commune d’adhésion et de travailler en totale autonomie.
A cet espace de consultations (Medicina) est intégré un espace de bien-être (Balicina). Ces deux entités distinctes l’une de l’autre, fonctionnent en totale indépendance tant juridique, que financière, Balicina offrant une passerelle naturelle aux soins prescrits de balnéothérapie (rééducation, bébés nageurs etc.). Cette complémentarité dessine une nouvelle enseigne sanitaire et sociale de soins de proximité, pour une prise en charge globale de la personne et de son parcours de santé, intégrant les trois dimensions de la santé : Prévention, Soins et Bien-Être.
En hébergeant une activité hospitalière (Hospices Civils de Lyon, Centre Léon-Bérard), ce modèle réaffirme les valeurs éthiques de l’exercice libéral de la médecine dont une que l’on peut rappeler : la liberté de choix du patient et intègre aussi les valeurs de l’Hôpital (charité, soins, enseignement/recherche), pour déployer un projet au service de la santé.
