Fondé en 1898, CHOMARAT est un groupe familial industriel français. Fidèle à cette industrie textile qui l’a vu naître, le Groupe Chomarat a développé de très nombreux savoir-faire qui reposent sur de fortes compétences humaines et une maîtrise de technologies complexes.
Il est aujourd’hui implanté dans 4 pays : France, Tunisie, Etats-Unis et Chine et emploie 1100 personnes.
Le Groupe est organisé en quatre domaines d’activité stratégique : Renforts pour matériaux Composites, Renforts pour matériaux de Construction, Textiles enduits & Films techniques et Confection. Il sert des marchés très diversifiés tels que : l’automobile, les sports & loisirs, l’énergie, la marine, la construction, le luxe et le prêt à porter féminin.
