metr - The Digital Platform for Energy Efficient Buildings

metr aims to accelerate the reduction of global CO2 emissions and make buildings more energy-efficient and sustainable. To achieve this, metr develops data-driven solutions for the real estate industry and networks them on a digital platform for energy efficient buildings. In this way, metr ensures efficient, safe and sustainable building management. For this approach, metr was awarded the Smart Country Startup Award in 2020. The company was founded in Berlin in 2016 and is a portfolio start-up of Next Big Thing AG, the company builder for the machine economy.
