Zéphyr & Borée is a maritime company developing innovative merchant vessels in order to offer low carbon maritime transport solutions.
Pioneer of the maritime sail transport, Zéphyr & Borée is working at the moment on hybrid sail-engine merchant ships what allows saving between 20% and 50% of the C02 as well as other polluting emissions of maritime transport (SOX, NOX, fine particles) while respecting delivery schedules and competitive prices.
We provide services in the following fields :
- studies of business cases concerning the technical and economic feasibility to limit the carbon footprint of the transport chain,
- design and operation of eco-friendly vessels of new generation adopted for particular needs (refit and construction),

Zéphyr & Borée est une compagnie maritime spécialisée dans l’armement de navires bas carbone à l’échelle industrielle, en utilisant notamment la propulsion vélique.
L’entreprise prévoit la mise en service d’une ligne maritime au départ d’Europe vers les USA (transatlantique) avec 5 porte-conteneurs équipés d’ailes rigides et d’une propulsion dual fuel diesel – méthanol permettant un bilan carbone réduit de 80% par rapport aux services existants.
L’armateur est également un des fondateurs de Windcoop, une compagnie maritime organisée en coopérative qui opérera des porte-conteneurs à la voile avec une première ligne France - Madagascar.
Par ailleurs, la compagnie opère le navire Canopée pour le compte d’ArianeGroup en joint-venture avec Jifmar Offshore Services.
