    Alfred Sauvy, directeur de l’Institut National d’Etudes Démographiques, représentant de la France aux Nations-Unies, Professeur au Collège de France, fut l’inventeur du terme Tiers-Monde
    Le Prix Alfred Sauvy, récompense un projet d’activité nouvelle, originale, innovante et contribue à aider une jeune entreprise à s’implanter et à se développer dans le département des Pyrénées-Orientales en y générant des retombées économiques et sociales.
    Il se matérialise par un chèque de 10.000 Euros et un accompagnement sur quelques années des lauréats.
    L’Association Prix Alfred Sauvy des Cadres Catalans, émanation du réseau des Cadres Catalans de Montpellier, Paris, Perpignan et Toulouse, est dédiée à l’organisation de ce Prix, avec le concours de sociétés partenaires, d’acteurs économiques reconnus et des anciens lauréats.
