THE NOTRE-DAME HOMELESS HOME
Since 1950, Le Foyer Notre-Dame des Sans-Abri has supported people in very precarious circumstances in the Rhône. The association welcomes, accommodates, supports and integrates professionally and socially men, women and children in very precarious circumstances, called Passengers.

Depuis 1950, Le Foyer Notre-Dame des Sans-Abri soutient les personnes en grande précarité dans le Rhône. L’association accueille, héberge, accompagne et insère professionnellement et socialement des hommes, des femmes, des enfants en grande précarité, appelés les Passagers.
Le Foyer agit pour que chaque personne ne soit que de passage dans la précarité. Il accompagne chaque personne de façon inconditionnelle, solidaire, et dans le respect de sa dignité.
Le Foyer propose des solutions d’hébergement, de logement, d'accueil de jour, de santé, d’hygiène, d’accompagnement social, de soutien juridique, et d’aide au retour à l’emploi pour permettre à chaque personne de se reconstruire.
Créée à Lyon en 1950 par Gabriel ROSSET, l’association rassemble aujourd’hui 1 000 bénévoles et 420/470 salariés - dont 145 personnes en contrat d’insertion professionnelle. Chaque soir, 1991 personnes dont 800 enfants sont hébergés par Le Foyer.
Avec ses dépôts de dons, ses centres de collecte, de tri, de revalorisation et ses boutiques solidaires il est également l'un des acteurs de l'économie circulaire dans le département.
Le Foyer Notre-Dame des Sans-Abri est une association loi 1901 reconnue d’utilité publique et labellisée par le Don en Confiance, ce qui garantit la bonne utilisation des dons.
