Description
  • Value proposition

[Automatic translation follows] Because nobody should choose whether to eat or take care

The Banco Farmaceutico Ets Foundation, since 2000, collects and recovers drugs (CA 1.5 million a year - both from over the counter and with a prescription obligation) to be donated to over 1,700 welfare bodies that offer free socio -health assistance to the indigent ones.

He does it, mainly, through 3 activities:

    Drug collection day
On the second Saturday of February of each year, Otre 18,000 volunteers in more than 4,500 pharmacies that adhere to the initiative invite customers to donate one or more drugs for local assistance bodies.

    Company donations
Thanks to the collaboration with over 60 pharmaceutical companies, the pharmaceutical bench is able to guarantee the assistance bodies with a drug supply (from self -medication, with a prescription obligation, supplements and garrisons) all year round. To benefit from donations are 100 large welfare structures.

Business donations are managed through the Bfresearch association (BFR). The assignment of the procedures in BFR, which has the know -how necessary to manage them, involves numerous benefits for companies:

    - tax benefits: the donation is not considered "sale" for tax purposes, therefore it does not generate revenues thus allowing the company to deduce all costs for VAT purposes (2018 Budget Law)
    - strengthening of reputation
    - Savings on destruction, storage and administrative costs
    - Promotion of the recovery and donation of pharmaceutical products for social solidarity purposes
    - limitation of negative impacts on the environment and natural resources

    Recovery valid drugs
In over 300 participating pharmacies, collection containers are positioned in which each, assisted by the pharmacist who guarantees the correctness of the operation, can insert their unused drugs.

Recovery of pharmaceutical surpluses, redistribution to charitable, non -profit structures, and fight against waste

Recupero eccedenze farmaceutiche, Redistribuzione a Strutture Caritative, non profit, and lotta allo spreco
